The ongoing dispute between Israel and Palestine dominates the news stories from the area. Although much can be said about the conflict it is important to note, that progress is being made and that the visions of freedom and peace have not diminished.
IFLRY Member Organization Radikal Ungdom (RU94) and Peace & Freedom Youth Forum (PFF) from Palestine currently collaborates in the field of border-crossing dialogue. PFF is an independent youth forum that represents the social, political and cultural aspirations of the Palestinian youth. PFF works to provide a peaceful and free environment for the youth to take ownership of their future, which itself needs to be peaceful and free. The long time goal of the project is to create a Danish-Palestinian youth forum for co-operation. This collaboration has been founded through the Arab Initiative and the Danish Youth Council, and further developed this past week when three members of RU visited Ramallah to elaborate on future projects.
Radikal Ungdom is grateful for the opportunity to co-operate with an organisation that works peacefully against oppression and towards a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine following the 1967-borders.
